No, we chose to use leather for pet safety.

Leather is flexible and lightweight, making it safe for pets. Lightweight metals can have sharp edges that might harm them, while smoother, heavier metals are less suitable, especially for cats.

Currently, we’re unable to offer emoji engraving. If an emoji is included, the engraving will be completed without it. 😔

Each collar comes with the buckle suited to its type: a safety breakaway buckle on cat collars and a secure side-release buckle on dog collars.

All of our plastic buckles are made of polyoxymethylene (POM).

POM (Polyoxymethylene), also known as Acetal or Delrin, is a high-performance engineering thermoplastic- a formaldehyde-based engineering plastic. It is specifically designed to bridge the gap between ordinary plastics and metals.

Did You Know? POM is often called "Plastic Steel" because its molecular structure allows it to behave more like a metal than a traditional plastic, providing incredible fatigue resistance for parts that need to open and close thousands of times.

Bundles are sold as fixed, pre-matched sets, so items can't be swapped out within a bundle.

If you'd like a different combination, you can buy the pieces separately and mix designs however you like — just note that buying separately won't include the bundle discount.

Dog collars have a secure, non-breakaway buckle and a D-ring, so you can attach a leash.

Cat collars use a breakaway buckle for safety — it's designed to pop open under pressure so your cat can free themselves if snagged. For that reason a cat collar should not be used with a leash. To walk a cat on a leash, use a harness instead.

Collars are sold on their own — a leash isn't included. Many designs have a matching leash available separately, and our leashes use a universal clip that pairs with our collars and harnesses, so you can mix and match. Browse the matching design or our Leashes collection to add one.

Engraving is included at no extra cost! Every Pet Tag comes with complimentary engraving, so you can personalize it to your liking without any additional charges.

Yes — every bundle is priced below the total of its items purchased individually, so you save by buying the set. The exact savings is shown on each bundle's page.

Spot clean your collar with mild soap and cold water, then let it air dry.

We don't recommend machine washing or tumble drying — the designs are sublimation-printed, and harsh cycles or heat can affect the print and hardware.

Use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string* around the pet’s neck. Allow room by placing two fingers between the collar and the pet’s neck. 

*When using the string method, a flat ruler is needed to get the measurement after getting the size around the pet’s neck.

Engraving doesn't add any delay — personalized Pet Tags ship on the same processing schedule as the rest of our products. See our shipping schedule for current timing, and you'll receive tracking as soon as your order is on its way.

Engraving is done on the back of the tag, which has limited space.

Refer to each product for details, but each one fits a pet’s name and phone number.

Your tag is engraved on the back only. The front shows the design you chose, and the back is engraved with your pet's details.

Cats' natural behaviors like scratching, climbing, and chewing can cause collar wear and tear. To prevent this, regularly check and maintain the collar, and use treats to help your cat adjust. If your cat shows discomfort, remove the collar and reintroduce it gradually. For more tips, watch instructional videos on training cats to wear collars comfortably.

Size each item to the body part it fits: use your pet's chest girth for the harness and neck measurement for the collar.

If your pet falls between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up on the harness for comfort and adjustment room, and choosing the snugger size on the collar. Our size charts and support team can help if you're unsure.

Cat Collars:

• One size: 8-12" (One size fits most)

Dog Collars:

• Extra-Small: 8-12"
• Small: 10-15"
• Medium: 13-20"
• Large: 16-26"

Although we always recommend measuring your pet's neck size, you can use the following as a starting reference point for sizing:

Cat Collars: Fit cats from 6 lbs to 22 lbs

Extra-Small (≤12”): Dogs up to 10 lbs

Small (11”-15”): Dogs 11-25 lbs

Medium (13”-18”): Dogs 26-55 lbs

Large (16”-24”): Dogs 56-80 lbs

On bundles that include both a harness and a collar, the size dropdown has two parts. The first size is your harness size and the second is your collar size.

They're chosen separately because a pet's chest and neck don't always match the same letter — so measure each and pick the best fit for both.

If you prefer a blank Pet Tag, simply enter “N/A” in the engraving field, and we’ll send it to you without any engraving.

If no information is provided and “N/A” isn’t entered, we’ll follow up with you to confirm whether you’d like engraving. If we don’t hear back within 5 business days, we’ll proceed with shipping a blank tag for you.

If there’s an error on your Pet Tag due to our mistake, we’ll happily replace it at no cost.If the mistake is based on the information provided, we can create a new tag for you for a $10 fee, which includes shipping.

We encourage customers to double check to make sure that the engraving information is correct before submitting your order.

If you spot an error after ordering, use our Pet Tag Customizer right away with the correct details to update your engraving info.

When customizing your Pet Tag, it’s best to include essential information due to limited space.

• Your pet’s name
• A contact phone number
• A note if your pet is microchipped
• You can also include a short message like “Call if Lost”

Cat collars come with a bell attached to the collar with a split ring. The bell and split ring are removable. The buckle is a breakaway.

The x-small dog collar comes with a D-ring for leash and tag use. The buckle is NOT a breakaway.

Since customized products are made just for you, we’re unable to resell them. However, we’re happy to offer a 50% refund on returned items to help make things right.

For the same reason, engraved Pet Tags aren’t eligible for exchange. If we made a mistake on your engraving, or your tag arrived damaged, we’ll replace it at no cost to you.

No — the engraving is etched into the metal, not printed on top, so the text itself won't rub off with normal wear. As with any pet tag, the surface finish can pick up small scratches over time with heavy daily use, but your pet's information stays legible.
